Phaes writes about women's health, hormones, and training, topics where accuracy matters and getting it wrong can cause real harm. This page explains who creates that content, how we research it, and the limits of what it is for. We would rather be plain about our process than imply an authority we do not yet have.
Who writes Phaes content
Our articles are researched and written by the Phaes team, the people building a women's health and coaching app. We are not a medical provider, and we do not present ourselves as one. What we bring is close, daily focus on this subject and a commitment to grounding everything we publish in credible evidence rather than opinion.
How we research and fact-check
Every health claim we make is checked against authoritative sources, and we cite them where it matters. The bodies and literature we rely on most include:
- The Menopause Society and ACOG for menopause, perimenopause, and hormone therapy
- The NHS and NICE for general clinical guidance
- Peer-reviewed research and position stands, such as the International Society of Sports Nutrition, for nutrition and exercise science
Where the science is genuinely uncertain or contested, for example the effects of the menstrual cycle on performance, we say so rather than overstating it. We review our articles against current guidance and update them as the evidence changes. Each article shows when it was last updated.
Information, not medical advice
Everything we publish is general education, not medical advice, and not a substitute for care from your own clinician. It cannot account for your personal health history, and it is never a basis for starting, stopping, or changing a treatment such as hormone therapy. Decisions about your care belong with you and a qualified healthcare professional. If your symptoms are severe or you are worried, please speak to a clinician.
Our path to clinical review
As Phaes grows, we are adding review of our health content by credentialed clinicians, including menopause-certified practitioners and registered dietitians. When an article has been reviewed by a named professional, we will show that clearly with their credentials. Until then, our articles are clearly attributed to the Phaes team, cited to authoritative sources, and framed as information rather than advice.
Corrections
If you spot something you believe is inaccurate, we want to know. Email us at smtn.techologies@gmail.com and we will review it promptly.
